The website and desktop app have different analytics behavior; both are described here without hiding the distinction.
PDF and image files
Files selected in OffPDF browser tools are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to OffPDF servers. Desktop operations also run locally. The bundled interface may receive locally generated thumbnails, extracted text or a single extracted PDF page for preview, search and editing; that data stays inside the app.
Website analytics and security
Offpdf.com uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, outbound GitHub clicks and download selections. Google Analytics may process device, browser, approximate location and referrer information and may set analytics cookies. Cloudflare and the hosting platform may process network information and set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site.
Desktop app
The OffPDF desktop app has no account system, advertising or product telemetry. It does not send your documents or activity history to OffPDF. Settings and recent-job metadata are stored locally on your computer.
